Sports analytics specialist Stupa Sports has unveiled a series of data-driven insights for badminton, which were first shown at the European Championships 2025, Denmark earlier this year.
Its product Stupa Cast product powered the data-driven coverage at the event, offering real-time performance analysis, live scoring, and immersive fan experiences. These can be seen in the video below.

Stupa’s performance analytics included serve success rate, rally count, forehead shot wins, and overall match performance. This data gave players and fans a better understanding of the strategies and skill sets.
The insights were presented in real-time broadcast graphics, visualising metrics such as player movement areas, error distribution, and winner placement, helping fans appreciate the finer strategies and athleticism of top-tier badminton.
