Alumnus coaches Napa High badminton to first league title

Napa High hasn’t won a lot of league championships in recent years and until this year, its most recent ones — in boys and girls wrestling in 2024 and girls golf in 2021 — were by programs that had won them before. But when the badminton program put its first-ever league pennant on the wall this spring, head coach Chelsea Pascual, like Nacho Franco in wrestling, was proud to be an alumnus of the program hoisting it.
